Why donate to our work?

You can read all about our mission and our work across the site but there are a few things we’d like to highlight which could use greater community support around:

• As part of the NOFA-VT Farm Share Subsidy program, we are responsible for raising 25% of every share that is subsidized.

• While we believe strongly in our mentorship of the next generation of farmers, hosting WWOOFers adds a considerable amount to our household bottom-line with the increased use of hot water, electric, propane for laundry, food, etc. 

• Helping to offset community members who need to use our pay-what-you-can option which we offer not only for our food but also all of our programming.

• Honoring the work we do to provide a number of FREE to the public events and programs both monthly and throughout the year.
